Recognitions

Selected acknowledgments of Six Points Theater productions and artists whose work resonated with critics, audiences, and the wider theater community.

In 2010, the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (MRAC) Board of Directors awarded the Arts Achievement Award to the Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (now Six Points Theater) and the White Bear Center for the Arts.

The award recognizes established organizations for their sustained achievement and contribution to the regional arts landscape of the seven-county Twin Cities metro region. Recipients are chosen to receive a $5,000 cash payment based on their success in producing thriving arts activities, integrating arts into a community's social fabric, and enhancing the public's understanding of the value of the arts.

Wow, I could watch that 10,000 times more! I liked the magic because I'd never seen magic before. I want to watch that over and over!

Why I think the Hanukkah show was so successful was because it was INTERACTIVE. Even though we sat in the very back row, the kids really felt like they were a part of it all. It was incredible!
