Six Points Theater, led by Producing Artistic Director Barbara Brooks, earned 27 nominations in this year's BroadwayWorld Minneapolis/St. Paul Awards.

Alongside a nod for Favorite Local Theater, our work appears across categories recognizing playwrights, performers, and designers from each production in our 2024–2025 season.

A Season in Four Stories

The Messenger leads with 10 nominations across artistic and technical categories, including Best Play. Survivors and An Act of God follow with 6 nods each, with Just For Us scoring 5 nods, including Best Performer in a Play for Ryan London-Levin.

For our 30th Anniversary season, we explored snappy comedy and documentary urgency, unified by a focus on stories told by characters with deeply embedded points of view.

How BroadwayWorld Nominations Happen

These awards are an annual snapshot of the productions audiences liked from across the vast Twin Cities theater landscape. Nominations are reader-submitted within categories created by the site’s editors. This year’s eligibility window covered shows running from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.

What These Nods Actually Tell Us

A community is defined by the conversations its theater sparks; the ideas we return to, argue over, and carry with us. These nominations reflect what kept theatergoers talking this year, and we’re thankful that audiences wanted to uplift the work of our artists.

Voting runs through December 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM / EST

Winners will be announced in January 2026
