It is 1999 in McLean, Virginia. David is Jewish, and Martín is an undocumented immigrant. They are gay high school seniors in love, dreaming of making movies together while working at a local video store. After they are targeted in a hate crime, their emotions begin to fray. Then, decisions from NYU’s film school arrive. Heartbreak and betrayal change the course of their lives forever.
